Anthony
Anthony Sardini is the founder and director of the Accurate Performance School of Music. Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, Anthony began his musical journey at age 10 when his mom signed him up for piano lessons. In his teenage years, he had the special opportunity to accompany his grandmother as she sang and he played the piano at local rehabilitation centers and church services. He would continue to accompany singers and choirs, and was selected to be the piano accompanist for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association's district and regional events. He also shared his love of music with others by beginning to give music lessons at age 16. He sought to create a way to teach music that was unlike previous schools and methods. He spent the following years crafting what he felt was the best music lesson experience.
In 2014 he founded the Accurate Performance School of Music and today the school has over 20 instructors that coach and serve over 500 musical artists on a weekly basis. Accurate Performance is a place for musicians and singers of all ages and abilities to learn, discover, and develop their musical talent and skills. The school provides performance opportunities for its students and staff. The Accurate Performance instructors have also collaborated in concerts for the benefit of the Erie City Mission and the Martin Luther King Center. It is part of Anthony’s mission to bring people and talent together to provide for and serve the Erie community.
Anthony continues his own study of music with world renowned coaches and teachers. He is constantly creating and developing new ways to deliver the highest quality musical training for his staff and the musical artists and students they serve.
Anthony has received the Millcreek Hall of Flame Award for Music and Arts, has been inducted into Erie’s 40 under 40, and received the Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania’s Celebrating Success Award.

Michael D.
At the age of five, Michael received a keyboard after showing interest in classical music. However, it was not until Michael was nine years old that he started taking piano lessons at the elementary school that he was attending. He advanced quickly, which led his parents to enroll him in piano lessons at Accurate Performance.
Michael showed such a passion for music, his parents decided to switch him from the public school he was attending to PA Cyber Charter School so he could have more time to focus on his music. In 2019, Michael set a goal to graduate from school a year early in order to get a head start on his music career.
He has taken multiple music courses, including Music Theory and Music Appreciation and also had the opportunity to record five pieces at Mercyhurst University, one of which was Chopin's Polonaise in A flat major. In the fall of 2023, he plans to enroll in Berklee's online Certificate Program, with the goal of earning eight certificates over several years.
While piano is Michael's main instrument, he also plays guitar and violin, and is now starting to learn how to play the drums.
He wants to share with his students the everlasting fulfillment one receives when taking on the challenge of learning an instrument.

Michael H.
Michael has been a musician his entire life, starting first in youth orchestra on double bass. Michael eventually found his way to percussion in middle school, where he played in Concert Band. Soon after that he joined The Erie All City Marching Band on bass drum, helping the band win multiple AAA Championships and countless Best Percussion awards.
Michael went on to compete with Presque Isle Percussion Ensemble, a traveling indoor marching drumline. During this time Michael entered into high school where he was introduced to the genre of Jazz, beginning his work on drum set. It was also in high school when Michael joined his first band SAFOOMA with friends from school.
Michael decided to continue his passion for music at Mercyhurst University where he majored in music with a concentration in percussion.
During his undergraduate studies Michael played in many ensembles such as jazz ensemble, wind ensemble, and choir. Also, while at Mercyhurst he helped found his first gigging band, The Monks Brew. They played both standard jazz repertoire as well as original music. Playing out helped Michael meet other like minded musicians, which led to the creation of many more bands. Michael plays not only jazz music but rock, blues, pop, and folk.
After the completion of his undergraduate degree, Michael would attend Cleveland State University in the pursuit of a Masters of Music degree with a concentration in Jazz Studies in percussion.
All these musical experiences laid the groundwork for an opportunity to teach. With an extensive background in all sorts of music, Michael has developed a broad approach to teaching percussion. He is not solely interested in the classical approach to learning music.
Michael looks forward to passing down knowledge and real life experience. After all, in the words of Albus Dumbledore "Music [is] a magic beyond all we do..."

Nick
Nick was born and raised here in Erie, PA and has loved music his entire life. He attended Collegiate Academy for highschool and obtained a B.S. in Physics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Nick's first music lessons were at age of 7 at the Inner-City Neighborhood Art House, learning piano, drums, and guitar. There, Nick's talent was nurtured, a good foundation was built, and a passion for music instilled. Upon entering high school, he immediately joined the school's jazz band and began making connections to form a rock band with a group of friends. This is when Nick realized drums are his instrument of choice and developed a deeper appreciation for the art of drumming.
As a college student, Nick found a good balance between studying the natural world, working part time jobs, and continuing to actively perform music with friends, even producing an album in the midst of finals. Nick also has a strong interest in pedagogy and the process of learning. Having tutored intro to college math for two years, as well as teaching himself how to juggle, he has an understanding of what it takes to learn abstract theoretical ideas as well as physically training the body to perform a task.
Drumming is a perfect combination of these types of learning. Nick has over two decades of drumming experience, has been involved in 7+ bands, recorded on 5 albums, and has performed with hundreds of fellow musicians. He is a multi-genre drummer having played rock, blues, jazz, folk, punk, metal, ska, and everything in between. He currently performs with local Erie Bands Grim Grin (skate punk), Reflect and Reform (acoustic folk duo), and Isle of Dread (Doom Metal).
