Zack

Zack is a highly skilled music instructor with over 24 years of experience teaching guitar. He is dedicated to helping his students develop a solid foundation in music theory and technique while also encouraging their creativity and self-expression. Zack’s passion for music began at a young age, and he has been a performing singer-songwriter since he was just 14 years old. He has lived and worked in several major music hubs, including Austin, Portland, Los Angeles, Boston, and London, UK.

Zack holds a two year post-graduate certificate in Guitar Performance, Music Business, and Music Technology from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Communications with a minor in Music from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA.

As a singer-songwriter, Zack has produced two independent solo albums of original music. His first album, 2003’s "Unstoppable Lift," was praised as "Stunning and inventive" by legendary rock critic Ben Fong-Torres of Rolling Stone Magazine. His second album, "Francisco The Man," was nominated for "Best Concept Album" by the 2010 Independent Music Awards.

Ultimately, Zack’s goal as an instructor is to help his students achieve their full potential as musicians. He tailors his teaching approach to each individual student and is always willing to share his real-world experience and industry insights. Whether you're interested in guitar, ukulele, bass, voice, songwriting, recording or music production, Zack has the knowledge and expertise to help you succeed.
