Grace
An avid music lover from a young age, Grace has been playing the piano since age 12. She is native to the Erie area and was homeschooled her entire life, affording her the opportunity to participate in many music events in the Erie area. Grace has performed at multiple events at Mercyhurst University, including winning 2nd place in the university’s Concerto Competition in 2019.
While her training focuses largely around classical piano, Grace also taught herself to play chord sheets and plays frequently on her church’s worship team.
Grace is currently enrolled in Mercyhurst University’s music program, pursuing a degree in Music Therapy with a concentration in piano. She is also a part of the concert choir and has had multiple opportunities to perform, including in a recording for a PBS documentary dedicated to Harry Burleigh, a highly influential, Erie-native composer.
Grace believes that music is for everyone to learn and enjoy and is passionate about cultivating a deep love and appreciation for music that can transcend language, space, and time.
